When you are negotiating a contract with a team it is your goal to get the most money from the team as possible and it is the teams goal to pay you the least amount of money from the team as possible and it is the teams goal to pay you the least amount of money they can get you to sign for. Every agent wants Every agent would like to have you believe that they have “the secret formula” in negotiations or that they know more than other agents, but the TRUTH is that we all passed the same test to become certified with the NFLPA.
The difference in the good and the bad agents in contract negotiations isn’t their knowledge, it is their individual desire to win the game and their ability to stand up and fight for what they believe in, even if they are the only one standing.
MARKETING AND ENDORSEMENTS
Empire will actively pursue personal endorsements, appearances, sponsorships, and promotional event opportunities for you. The President of Empire along with the Director of Marketing and Endorsements have many ties with business leaders both in the local community and on a national level. It is our desire to get our clients as much exposure as possible so that they can be a household name. We have many connections in the media and will inform of every action you take that people should know about.
While you are in Jacksonville training for the combine, we will be able to start marketing you while earning you some extra cash by setting up autograph sessions and paid appearances on the weekends. We tailor the marketing opportunities to each player and will actively target appropriate business entities for these opportunities, giving us a more diverse range of opportunities for our clients. EMPIRE owns a house on Jacksonville Beach where you will live while you train in Jacksonville. The house is located in the highly sought after area of Jacksonville Beach located walking distance to the ocean, lake, restaurants, and bars. If you decide you would like to stay closer to downtown then we will make arrangements to put you up in the hotel of your choice. CAR DEAL
Empire has partnered with local dealerships in Jacksonville, Florida to provide you with the new car of your choice. Once you have signed a contract with Empire you can pick out the new car of your choice from any of several dealerships and have no payments until we have completed your contract negotiation and you receive your first check. This will allow you to have the ride of your choice in January while you are training, instead of waiting until you get paid. LIMO SERVICE Empire will provide you with a stretch BMW or HUMMER every weekend you are in Jacksonville training for the combine. This is a service we offer to make sure you don’t have to worry about driving when you go out for club appearances and fun on Saturday nights. The limo will pick you up at the Empire beach at 9pm and return when you are ready to go.
LINE of CASH or CREDIT
Empire or one of our partners will provide you with a line of cash or credit up to 100,000 dollars and down depending and down depending on your projected draft status. This money will be available for you while you are training and awaiting your signing bonus that often does not come until the summer.
